The promotion of a medical site is a specific matter. The current legislation provides an extensive list of requirements for advertising of a medical nature, but it is difficult to impose restrictions on promotion on the Internet. Before you start a campaign on the Internet, you should know the basic principles of promoting medical sites. Unfortunately, few SEO experts have such information: in order to understand the mechanism of promotion of the portal, one needs to have relevant experience.
SEO specialists have already managed to repeatedly prove their ability to work even with the most complex orders, we ready to share with you several secrets of work. Let’s start with the basics.
Medical b2b portals (wholesale of medicines, supplies, equipment).
Informative social projects (informative sites on AIDS, oncology, as well as other diseases and developmental peculiarities).
The type of portal determines the ways of its promotion. The main mission of the site promotion specialist is to attract the target audience and get it in one way: high-quality thematic content.
Requests for promoting a medical site can be:
Such requests are driven into the search lines by potential customers of medical centres and online pharmacies. Users are interested in diseases (most often we are talking about symptoms of ailments and methods of treating them) and medications (methods of administration, dosage, side effects and, importantly, analogues).
For medical sites, this list of requests is very wide: requests can not only contain the words “price”, “cost” and “buy”, but also be devoted to recording a consultation with a specialist or reviews of the procedure (often they indicate the name of the institution and even name of the doctor).
The difficulty of promoting such sites is an abundance of controversial requests. To determine what is in front of you, a commercial or information request is often almost impossible – you need to analyze the issuance for each of them.
IMPORTANT: it is possible to form the semantic core of a site on a medical subject using a large number of low-frequency queries – narrowly professional or regional.
5 best practices to promote medical websites:
1. Social networks (maintaining the public allows you to conduct a direct dialogue with the audience – answer user questions, share clinic news and developments in the industry).
2. Linking to third-party resources (most reputable sites impose severe restrictions on medical publications, which greatly complicates the use of this method), as well as contextual advertising and blogging.
3. Register in online directories (choose non-spammy directories, which can be judged by the indexing of the leading search engines, the presence of AGS filters, trust and the correspondence of external and internal links).
4. A well-thought-out structure of the site (the presence of a feedback form, sections with patient reviews, biographies of specialists, a list of services and prices, the ability to ask a specialist and make an appointment online, the presence of directories on the site is an up-to-date article on diseases and drugs).
5. Maintaining a reputation (tracking feedback and comments about the organization).
As you can see, to take the medical website to the top, attract and, most importantly, keep the audience, it will take a lot of work. The best solution would be to invite an SEO specialist who can sensibly organize the entire process of working on the project.
Using latent semantic indexing (LSI) keywords in the content of your resource pages – terms and phrases that are similar or related to the target keyword of a particular web page – can be of great help and significantly improve the website’s SEO performance.
This works if you know what to do and how. The development of the semantic search used by search engines, as well as the desire to achieve a more accurate and contextual understanding of user queries, have greatly changed the approach to SEO. Today, to get the maximum effect, you need to optimize keywords for the content of a particular page, and not just for a specific search query.
In this article, we will tell you how to find the LSI phrases suitable for your resource and take advantage of them.
1) LSI phrases are more than just synonyms
When defining key LSI keywords, it is necessary to apply the theme of the main keywords in a broader sense; the simple use of synonyms, which means roughly the same thing, will not work. For example, in the content of the site describing “the best beaches in Goa” for effective promotion, you need not only to use LSI phrases based on synonyms but also use phrases that describe the subject more conceptually – “beach holidays in Goa” or “sea vacation in Goa”.
2) Explore the Google search queries related to the subject of your site
When compiling a list of suitable LSI keywords, use Google. Formulate your search query on Google with a keyword – at the bottom of the search results page, there will be a lot of related, relevant queries that will allow you to understand what Google considers relevant to this topic. This will allow you to make a list of relevant LSI phrases based on real user searches.
Another simple option is to view other lines displayed in the Google search bar when you enter your keyword. Here you can select for free suitable LSI phrases for your resource within a few seconds.
3) Compose LSI phrases using Google Keyword Planner (Keyword Planner)
Google Keyword Planner is a free tool to find the right keywords. This tool also allows you to define LSI phrases: it can offer hundreds of keywords related to the website, as well as general terms and phrases that are actively used in Google search queries.
Google Keyword Planner
In addition to selecting LSI keywords, the Google keyword planner identifies SEO keywords with low competition and high traffic, so web marketers can competently approach the formation of a promotion strategy for LSI keywords. This allows you to target content around specific LSI phrases and significantly optimizes your advertising budget.
4) Use the LSIGraph tool
Another freemium tool, LSIGraph, is specifically designed to generate LSI phrases that complement existing page content. Web marketers and content authors just need to enter the target keyword on the LSIGraph website to get a verified list of LSI phrases for potential use.
LSI keyword generator
When faced with such an impressive amount of suitable LSI phrases, it is important to be able to resist the urge and not overdo the use of key phrases within a specific text fragment.
The practice of excessive use of keywords unnecessarily can (and will) lead to gross distortions in search engines and nullify all the positive efforts of SEO promotion. The best option is to use selected terms that are most relevant to the content of the page, as well as maintaining a list of other promising keywords and developing new content, pages and marketing materials to apply these terms.
Today we talked about the most common tools for finding LSI keywords. Using these tools and methods, you can increase the relevance of the theme of your content, and, ultimately, increase traffic indicators and attract more users to the site. If you want to entrust this task to professionals, SKARTEC’s SEO specialists are always at your service!
Social Bookmarking is the best method to organize, store, manage and search for bookmarks of online resources. The SEO players look for the related social bookmarking websites where they can bookmark their own website to get a backlink from the site.
When we discover a web page that we find interesting, in its place of having to remember the address of the webpage, we basically save the address as a “bookmark” in our browser. Social bookmarking is similar to saving favourites on our browser, except we are saving to a website that we can access from any computer in the world. But the component of social bookmarking is the ‘social’ element. Each one can appear at each one else bookmark. That means, we are looking for content, that people already bookmarked.
Mainly social bookmarking websites will display a number next to the content representing how many times it has been saved by a different user. These sites also show a continually updated list of popular web pages. This can be an enormous technique of finding remarkable content that we might not otherwise come across. The main advantage of this method is high efficiency and good output in the form of visitors.
Social bookmarking is good because can lead to your website readers with relevant tastes, can increase traffic to your website and finally, it’s just free valuable backlinks.

Many listings for DMOZ are not approved since they do not accept certain types of sites like affiliate sites, porn, hate, etc, and many more because the submission does not conform to the DMOZ guidelines/.
The best way to get a normal site to approve quickly is to first of all search DMOZ for the keyword you consider represents your overall site best and submit to that category. Link building is the most important part to achieve a high ranking website in search engines.
It’s no secret that link building for SEO is the most important skill in website promotion. To place a link and interest the user in it, you need to understand the content, sales, programming, psychology and good old marketing.
If you want to get more organic traffic, link building is indispensable.
Link Building Basics
According to a Backlinko study of 1 million Google’s results from last year, it’s become apparent that despite all the allegations that links are less important, they continue to influence the site’s position more than any other factor.
In fact, Google recognized that external links are one of the three key signals for ranking, Link, as before, is the basis of the search algorithm.
Why are links still so important?
Before Google, page content was the only ranking factor. Google has proposed a unique PageRank algorithm that has changed everything. Instead of simply analyzing the textual content of the page, Google began to track how many people link to this page. The indicator of the number of incoming links allowed the best way to assess the quality of the site.
After the advent of Google Penguin and subsequent updates, Google began to focus not only on the quantity but also on the quality of the links.
The question arises: what does “quality link” mean? And how to build a quality reference environment?
Why is it so important to understand what makes a link good or bad?
If you post quality links – your site moves to the top. Post-low-quality links – Google punishes the site faster than you say “what happened?”
What should I look for in order to evaluate link quality?
Formally, Google announced the closure of the PageRank project, but according to employees, links with high PageRank remain the basis of the ranking algorithm.
The authority of the page – the source of the link
The high PageRank (link weight) of the donor page still continues to influence the ranking. Links from reputable pages transfer weight to your site.
The credibility of the donor site
The quality of the link is also determined by the weight of the entire site, on the page of which there is a backlink.
The weight of the site is important, but the relevance of the resource where you plan to place the backlink is also important. A high-quality link is a link from an authoritative website of a similar subject.
Link location on the page
Place a link in the main content? Or bury her footer? The location of the link on the page is important. Links in the footer and sidebars (side columns) are inferior to the links in the main content of the page.
No matter where your link appears on the page, you should ask yourself: “Did the site editor post this link?”
In other words, the one who put down the link to your site thought your resource was interesting and useful? That is an editorial link.
Or did you get a link for commercial purposes and then it will be deleted? This is an unnatural link.
Google greatly appreciates editorial links:
… creation of links without the participation of the editors or the owner of the site (unnatural links) can be regarded as a violation of the rules … (from the Google manual)
Anchor text is the clickable text part of a link. Google uses anchor text as one of the ranking signals.
Google analyzes the semantic content of the link and compares it with the subject of the site. If there is a match, the link increases the value of your resource. However, the use in the anchor of a large number of key requests can affect negatively. Google may consider signals such as spam. You cannot abuse links that contain a large number of keywords in your anchor text for your resource.
Link Text Environment
The text environment of the link in the words and phrases located in the text next to the link. Probably, Google considers this context as an additional and dependent anchor text.
This is logical because the text around the link also gives an idea of the key content of the page as a whole.
Is this a link from a guest post?
A few years ago, Google explicitly stated: “Blogging has become too spammy.”
Is this a true statement? It depends.
Here are some examples of signals that Google might use to identify a guest post as spam:
Who obviously pays for post-placement;
The post contains an anchor with a direct key entry;
The site exists exclusively for reviews and guest publications;
The site does not match the theme of your resource.
Nofollow vs Dofollow
rel = ”nofollow” – link tag that tells search engines that it should not be counted and indexed
How to Get First-Class Links Using Content Marketing
It’s not a secret that content is the key that unlocks quality links. But here’s the problem, publishing content alone will not collect any links for you.
As practice shows, certain types of content work best for link building.
Let us consider in more detail 4 types of content that have the greatest ability to generate links.
# 1: Visual Content
What it is:
Pictures / photos.
Graphs and other similar visual content types.
Why does it work?
Images are very easy to relink. For example, if you publish a chart on your page, you get a link every time someone uses this content on their site. A fragment of text content is more likely to be cited without reference. The visual content has a chance of getting a backlink above.
# 2: Numbered List
What it is:
A numbered list of tips, techniques, facts, myths – or just about anything.
Why does it work?
The list of reasons, arranged in the form of a numbered list, allows you to place accents for important information by presenting it in a convenient and easy to remember form.
When BuzzSumo analyzed 1 million articles, it turned out that content lists generate more backlinks than quizzes, videos, and even infographics.
# 3: Original Research and Data
What it is:
Content that reveals new information from industry research or industry statistics.
Why does it work?
It is customary to refer to statistics and analytical data in the Internet space. Each time, sites indicate the source of the content in order to confirm their authority. Links build up quickly and easily.
# 4: Detailed Guides
What it is:
Comprehensive information that fully reveals an important topic.
Why does it work?
Detailed guides contain an insane amount of information on the topic. All this is concentrated in one document. manuals a huge amount of information is collected in one place. This makes your guide the best on the subject.
So, after you have created the appropriate content, it’s time to move on to link building.
Make sure your site has something that other webmasters in your niche or vertical would be interested in linking to.
Create content that people will be willing to link to, even if it is not directly easy to monetize. These links worthy pages will lift the authority and rankings of all pages on your site.
Create content that legitimate webmasters interested in your topic would be interested in linking to.
When possible, try to get your keywords in many of the links pointing to your pages. For e.g., if it is a digital marketing training niche, you can include the following keywords in your content – “digital marketing training”, “online marketing course”, “digital marketing institute”, “Google analytics course”, “web analytics course”, “Google Analytics”, etc.
Register with, participate in, or trade links with topical hubs and related sites. Be in the discussion or at least be near the discussion.
Look for places from which you can get high-quality free links (like local libraries or chambers of commerce).
If you have some good internal content, try to get direct links to your inner pages.
Produce articles and get them syndicated to more authoritative sites.
Start an interesting and unique blog and write about your topics, products, news, and other sites in your community.
Comment on other sites with useful relevant and valuable comments.
Participate in forums to learn about what your potential consumers think is important. What questions do they frequently have? How do you solve those problems or pain points?
Issue press releases with links to your site.
Leave testimonials for people and products you really like. Oftentimes when the product owner or person posts the testimonials, they will include a link back to your site.
Sponsor charities, blogs, or websites related to your site.
Consider renting links if you are in an extremely competitive industry.
Adult, gaming, credit, and pharmacy categories will likely require link rentals and/or building topical link networks.
Mix your link text up. Adding words like buying or store to the keywords in your some of your link text can make it look like more natural linkage data and help you rank well for many targeted secondary phrases.
Survey your vertical and related verticals. What ideas/tools/articles have become industry standard tools or well-cited information? What are ideas missing from the current market space that could also fill that niche? If you have a large site, make sure you create legitimate reasons for people to want to reference more than just your homepage.

Search Engine Optimization is an essential element to be implemented in your marketing strategy. This should be taken up on a priority basis while creating new landing pages or blog posts. To maximize conversions, we also need to have good relevant and original content to be found and convert. Check out these latest on-page SEO best practices.
When creating new landing pages or even looking to improve existing pages, I would suggest you use the below checklist to help you boost the SEO effectiveness of your site without affecting the ability of your pages to convert. After all, it’s a win-win situation and worth the time and effort put.
Search engine optimization has always been an essential element to your marketing strategy, but often it’s not thought of as being a priority when creating new landing pages. Sure, you want to maximize conversions (and don’t get us wrong, conversion optimization matters too), but at the end of the day, you need your content to be found in order to convert.
The Importance of On-page Search Engine Optimization
Search engines use the content of your pages as a guide to what your page is about, or to use search engine parlance, the relevancy of the page. Search engines parse the page into the words they find and assign various weights to each word depending on if it is in a header tag, H tag, etc or if it has special characteristics like bold or italic, and its location relative to the start of the page,
While each search engine used different methods of weighting or ranking the page and while many search engines use external factors like anchor text links pointing to the page also, this is the first place that the search engines look.
The way each search engine approaches this task is covered in greater detail in the search engines section, but in general page title tags gain the most ranking points of the header tags and the H tags the most on the page,
Within each factor, the location of the word may also be taken into account with words closer to the beginning of the tag gaining the most ranking points in general. In addition, most modern search engines will consider the words in the vicinity of to add more ranking points
Key benefits of On-Page SEO and why you should even do it
The first strategy you should focus on is to improve the user experience or UX. A landing page with a good user experience will lead to more conversions.
Follow the On-Page strategies mentioned in this post to easily get higher page ranking on SERPS, thus improving visibility and conversions.
Better ranking = more traffic = more leads, sales, ad-clicks, and overall revenue.
The leads generated through SEO have a higher chance of getting converted. Research says that 15% of the leads get converted to a sale.
For every rupee spent, small businessmen can generate approximately 3-5 times as many leads in comparison to traditional marketing.
65% of the users never scroll past the 1st page of the SERPs. If they don’t find what they want, they either change the search engine or the query term or keyword.
Here are my recommendations for On-Page SEO techniques
1. Creating SEO Friendly URLs
URLs have a significant role in creating a perfectly optimized page. The ex-employee of Google, Matt Cutts has clearly stated in one of his interviews that URLs can also be used for ranking your content. By adding 3-5 keywords in the URL helps Google and other search engines to determine the main keywords of the page. The URLs have to be short and it will help you rank your website higher.
Things to keep in mind before you start editing your URLs
URLs must not be too long for e.g. https://skartecedu.in/blog/how-can-you-make-your-pages-seo-friendly-and-can-get-higher-ranking.html
Make the URL easy to read and understand, for example, https://skartecedu.in/blog/on-page-seo-techniques/
Don’t use numbers instead of words, e.g. https://skartecedu.in/blog/p-500
2. Use SEO friendly Title Tags
Title tags are considered as the most important element of on-page SEO. It must be properly optimized. Search engines use title tags to determine the topic of your page if you have used your focused keywords in title tags which you want to rank for you can get ranking easily.
3. Use keywords at the beginning of Title Tags
Suggest you start your Title Tag with a keyword. This helps you to rank for your specific and focused keywords. Refer below image for an idea on how to create a Title Tag with a keyword.
When you use keywords at the beginning of your Title Tags, it is easy for search engines to understand the main topic of your page and show them to your targeted audience when they search using a particular keyword. In the above image, the keyword “Digital Marketing Course in Chennai” has been used at the beginning of the title, thus making them readily available to the audience basis their search query.
The Title Tag should not exceed 70 characters as it will get truncated and dots will appear towards the end. Title Tag will improve click-through-rate (CTR). If your website has good CTR then your site’s pages will be automatically ranked higher. Your audience will also be able to find your website and understand the purpose of it. I recommended you read Moz’s article on Title Tag Length Guidelines.
4. Use modifiers in Title Tags
Modifiers are the words that are added in title tags to make them more appealing and attractive. These words include “Best,” “Guide,” “New,” “2018”, “Review,” “Easy” and some other words of this kind.
Things you should know when you write Title Tags
The length of title tags must not be more than 63 characters (It may vary with upper or lower case because Google gives just 600px of the area for titles in the search result page.)
Use keywords at the beginning of title tags in such a way they make sense.
Don’t stuff your title tags with keywords.
Using “Best” and “New” also helps you to boost your CTR because when a user sees these words on the search page, they click to see what is NEW or BEST.
5. Use Meta Description
In 2009, Google had announced they are not using Meta Description tags to rank web pages. But Meta descriptions are still important as Google uses the phrases in the meta description tags to understand the purpose or the topic of your page.
Wondering why Google doesn’t use Meta Descriptions, then check out the below video –
Even if Google is not using Meta description tags remember there are many more search engines like Bing, Yahoo who use meta description tags to identify the topic of your page.
6. Use Heading Tags for SEO
Heading Tags are incredibly powerful, and search engines also read your heading tags. These tags are used to break up your page into various sections so that users can easily find the information they are looking for.
Heading Tags are classified from H1 to H6 and these tags are critical because the words used in heading tags are also considered as the secondary topic of your contents. It also helps Google understand the purpose of your page
7. Use Keywords in H1 Tags
H1 Tags are the most powerful heading tags than others. Ensure to put your Central Keyword here. Remember there can be only one H1 tag in a page and multiple H2…H6 tags. Suggest using Latent Semantic Indexing Keywords. Search using LSIgraph.com
7. Use Multimedia to boost your engagement
If you are just using text on your pages, then your visitors may get bored and can find it difficult to understand. Multimedia is the best and easiest way to engage your audience and thus making them happier. Here Multimedia can be Videos or images.
9. Ensure to optimize your images
Using Images in your content is a wise idea, and they really help in optimizing your pages perfectly. For optimizing images use your target keywords in an image name, ALT tags and consider reducing the Image size. The image should be of 72ppi (pixels per inch) and the file size should be low. If the file size is very high, then this can affect your website loading speed and your visitors will just bounce off. You can use WP Smush to optimize your images on a WordPress website.
10. Use YouTube Videos
Using YouTube videos in your content is the easiest way to optimize your website for search engines and reach the top of Google SERPs. You may have seen many YouTube videos getting ranked in the search results. This helps your pages to boost its ranking easily. Always upload your own video to YouTube and add a description of 250 + words for that YouTube video. In this way, your videos will work better. YouTube also belongs to Google, just imagine the impact it can create in your rankings.
11. Use Keywords in the first 100 words
If you write naturally, then you can drop your keywords in first 100 words very quickly as you know some people start writing their blog posts which a long intro having hundreds of words and they often use their targeted keywords after a long introduction which does not produce a good impression on users as well as search engines.
12. Get your pages to load faster
Fast page loading speed has become an important ranking factor, and Google has clearly stated this on their webmaster’s blog. If you want to find the loading speed of your site, then you can check it on Google’s free page speed checking tool called page insights. You can also use GTMetrix or Pingdom. GTMetrix gives your suggestions, optimizes your images and I use this majorly.
Tips to make your website load faster:
If you are on WordPress, then using any caching plugin helps a lot in loading your pages faster. I use WP Fastest Cache & WP-Optimize. You should also host your website with a good hosting company that provides 24×7 support and 99.99% uptime. Many companies host multiple websites on a single server with a single IP Address and this causes server load and thus affecting your website loading speed.
13. Use Mobile friendly or Responsive design for your website
Since the beginning of 2015, Google has started penalizing all those sites which are not mobile-friendly. Google has come up with a feature called AMP – Accelerated Mobile Pages. This enhances the way the website is displayed on hand-held devices. AMP strips off all the images and only shows the content to your audience. Thus, increasing the speed of your website as well as your rankings. Google has made it mandatory that webmasters make use of this and make their website more mobile-friendly.
Internal links are very useful as they help your visitor to keep on reading your pages as well as increase the number of page views per visitor. Internal linking creates a web of links around your blog, and when search engine bots start crawling your pages, they crawl each and every page of your websites.
If you want to see some examples of internal linking, then there is nothing better than Wikipedia they have average 50 internal links on each page. This proves that internal links are most important. For a WordPress website, you can use the Yoast Premium Plugin which has a function for internal linking. It displays a long list of similar topics basis a blog post and helps you easily link articles with one another.
15. External Linking
External linking has become the most popular on-page SEO technique since Google has started giving importance to those pages which often link to useful and authority pages. You can give a source link, to avoid duplicate content issues.
16. Use Latent Semantic Indexing keywords
LSI stands for Latent Semantic Indexing, or you can say it is the synonyms of your targeted keywords. Google algorithm uses LSI keywords to identify the topic of pages. You can receive more traffic using LSI keywords without having the problem of competition because LSI keywords never get displayed in competition. Suggest you to use LSIgraph.com to find your LSI keywords.
Keywords like on-page SEO, SEO Techniques, SEO Guides, Link building techniques have high competition and are also difficult to rank. Hence, I suggest that you use LSI keywords as they do not have much competition and you can easily rank your website.
If you want to find some LSI keywords in the SERPs, then scroll down towards the bottom of the Google SERPs to find Searches related to. Whatever keywords are displayed here can also be used as an LSI keyword.
17. Long & Engaging Content
Google loves more content and those websites that meet this criterion will get displayed in the top 10 search results. Well, there are no standards for writing long content, but your pages must have at least 1500 words enriched with relevant keywords.
The number of words in your pages also vary with your niche, for example, if you are running a blog related to technology, news, or jobs, etc. then 1000 words are enough, but if you are writing about SEO, then you should write 2000+ words.
People visit your site for content. So you should ensure that the content is original and relevant to their search query so as to keep them engaged. The content should be interesting and at the same time useful and informative.
Tips for Creating Engaging Content
Don’t make the paragraphs too much longer.
Add images and videos where needed.

Show your popularity to get into the mind of readers.
Put a table of contents at the beginning of your page so that the user can immediately see what you are providing.

19. Use Social Sharing Button For Social Signals
Matt Cutts has said that Google is using social signals as a ranking factor. The social sharing button is very useful especially when you have created a super good piece of article and your readers want to share the same with their friends. By adding a social sharing button on your website, it will be very easy for your visitors to share the content. Sharing content on social media creates a ripple effect and there are chances that it goes viral. More and more people see the article and keep sharing thus increasing your website traffic as well as its ranking.
29. Readability Level
It tells you how difficult or easy it is to read your website contents. You should optimize your content in such a way that it is easy for your visitors to read and understand. In WordPress, the Yoast Plugin will tell you whether your content is readable or not. Yoast’s “Flesch Reading Ease Test” and that is what I am going to tell you. If your reading level score is about 60 – 70 then it is good else you need to seriously rethink your content strategy.

Google gives a ranking boost to those sites that have implemented good commenting systems on their website. When you encourage comments on your content, it will increase your reputation in Google’s eyes, and consequently, you will be rewarded with a boost in rankings.
31. Increase Click-Through-Rate (CTR)
Google uses click-through rate to a rank website, and I am 1000% sure about this because this has happened to me. I have boosted the traffic of a site by just increasing the click-through rate. Wondering how can CTR increase your rankings the watch below video created by Brian Dean.
Copying and pasting the keyword list as-is is not a good practice for improving ranking. A better way would be to simply pick some of the phrases and write quality content around them in a natural way.

Use the below tools to analyze your website’s SEO strength
While there are some search engines place great weight on the on-page content, the proliferation of billions of web pages have forced the search engines to find additional ranking factors. Google was an early adopter of using anchor text of inbound links to help determine the relevancy of a page and that factor is the most important Google ranking factor today.
The content of your pages is definitely a ranking consideration and a well-optimized page will always help your rankings. On some search engines and for search terms which are not very competitive this may be enough to rank you will by itself, but as soon as you get into very competitive terms at places like Google it will require you use a good inbound anchor text strategy to succeed.
When optimizing your page try to concentrate on only one search term per page (or perhaps up to three very closely related search terms). Use your search terms at the beginning of the tag or page starting with the page title and meta description, then first thing on the page use a header tag that summarizes what your page is about and which uses your search term.
Use your search terms in the first paragraph and throughout the page but make sure that it reads well for human viewers.
I prefer to use a call to action statement in the closing paragraph of the page, again using your search term.
